Writer's Bio
Patricia Fox studied Creative Writing, Screenwriting, Film History and Film Criticism at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.  In 2017, she obtained her MFA in Creative Writing from Augsburg University. She has been a Finalist three times for the IFP-MN McKnight Screenwriting Fellowship.  She has also been a Finalist, Quarter-Finalist and Semi-Finalist in numerous national screenwriting contests such as the Page Awards, the Nicholl Fellowship, Bluecat, the Austin Film Festival and Champion Screenwriting

Patricia just finished a screenplay dedicated to the legendary Prince who's from her hometown of Minneapolis. It's called When Doves Cry.

Patricia was recently named a Finalist (again) for the prestigious Knight Fellowship in screenwriting. Read about it here:
Finalists Announced!

Patricia had a short story published called "That Santa Can Dance." An adaptation of this story to the screen was an award winner at the Calcasieu Film Festival in Lake Charles, LA. 

She produced a short film she wrote, based on a true story, called 100,000 Miles a Second... It is getting accepted into many film festivals throughout the world, including Milan and Jarkarta. It was also recently named the Best Dramatic short film at the Marina del Rey film festival in Los Angeles:
